If I uncheck 'select unlocked cells' then 'select locked cells' unchecks, too. I thought something like, "It's in edit comment mode but its just hidden from me." So then I started thinking, "Where is it hidden." That's when I dragged out the cell, Does anyone know how I can "snap" (for lack of a better word) that comment back to the original cell? Now I cannot edit comments without going to review show all comments and then click on the cell that I have added a comment into.
But normally, the comment will be connected by a line to the cell, so you would just follow the line to find the comment. It should be able to be edited after this repair. The macro works great, but I need a macro to undo the changes. The only fix I could come up with is a bit cumbersome and ineligant. I'd rather not do that, just allow them to add or edit comments in those specific unlocked cells that they can already select.

Indecently the workbook was written in excel 2000 and we have now switched over to 2003. When searching for multiple search words, how would you type the search to include all words, for example, "prevent" & "paste" & "comments".
