Then restart Outlook and send/receive your emails on the corresponding Exchange mailbox, which will let Outlook create a new OST file automatically and synchronize its data with the Exchange mailbox.

When we manually added a shared mailbox to the Outlook client (2010 or 2013), we would get incessant login prompts, and no matter what credentials we typed in, nothing worked.
