I tried your diskpart steps, I disabled my virus checker, I installed the HP formatter (discussed in the comments) and I even installed Rufus. you'd think Microsoft would just make a tool that actually works to let you install their software.0 Reply Justin 3 years agoThanks a lot Michael! it works perfctly now. Unable To Copy Files To Usb Rufus claims to be twice as fast as WUDT and other alternative utilities so it's definitely worth a shot for your next OS reinstall.
